There are rehearsals during the day from 1-6pm so feel free to drop in and have a look if you’re unable to come to the concert.
New Work - Tim Yates’ piece features 2 specially made laptop orchestra electronic instruments, the parameters of which are controlled through the network by 6 separate musicians. Max/MSP, OSC, keyboards, this piece has it all!
Dymorphic - Dave Rafferty’s piece is for saxophone and electronics!
Consonance and Consequence - Christopher Chong’s piece is for the Viola D’amore, a period instrument with sympathetic strings, and explores the relationship between resonant bodies. Viola D’amore, string ensemble, and Laptop Orchestra
Fractals - This new guided improvisatory piece is by James Lill and features a custom C++ programmed Fractal Zoom visual effect which will be projected behind the ensemble.
