An interactive music performance tool built by Christopher to enable the control of sound generation using motion capture and a drawing interface. Programmed using ‘Processing’ and Max/MSP and motion tracking using the JMyron library.
The Sonic Window - Work in Progress
Preliminary tests and demonstration of a 10 point multi-touch surface used to build a sound installation source mixer.
The Sonic Window - Installation
An installation built by Christopher using multi-touch technology implemented with Max/MSP/Jitter, cv.jit, Processing, and a variety of infrared sensing equipment.
Second Life - Max/MSP data sharing
A modification by Christopher of the SLProxy (now GridProxy) application allowing the control of movement and SL scripts in the virtual world. The software was used to develop ‘SL’etude’ which will be performed the Digital Resources for the Humanities and Arts (DRHA) conference in september 2009.
Silent Disco (Preview)
A composition I’m working on for the Ossian Ensemble. It mixes graphic animated notation with traditional paper music scores. Visuals programmed in Processing.
SL’etude Demo
A composition with Pedro Rebelo and Franziska Schroeder. This is the virtual space we used for a concert which opened the DRHA 2009 conference in Belfast. Full professionally edited video to follow soon.
